It was a perfect night to go trick or treating- the weather was very mild. Firefighter Ava, her Dad and I began trick or treating in her Grammy's neighborhood. She loved walking around the neighborhood collecting candy. She thought it was hysterical when a ghost displayed in someone's yard scared her Daddy when it started moving and making noise. Mom thought it was funny too! We saw many creative jack-o-lanterns and a variety of costumes. Daddy scooped up
Ava and ran to try and catch the fire truck when we heard it, but we just missed it. After collecting candy for an hour, we went back to her father's neighborhood and waited for trick or treaters to come. Unfortunately, there were only a few. However, we finally saw the fire truck right in front of Daddy's house and they even let her go inside. To her, that was the highlight of the evening.
